I recently shared a collection of coats that I purchased over on my YouTube channel as part of an Autumn/Winter Haul, which if you missed, you cam view below…
As promised, I wanted to share all my top picks for this season trends for cosy winter coat styles that I couldn’t feature as part of my haul.
The trench coat is such an iconic staple item that’s a must have as part of any wardrobe. Whether you want to go for classic Burberry style or a more statement piece, a trench is an effortless chic addition to your closet.
£80.00 reduced to £32.00
You really can’t go wrong with this gorgeous classic trench and for less than half price?! I don’t think these will be around for long.
£195.00 reduced to £146.25
Layering coats is a simple way to make your outfit look high-end. The contrast in colours looks so stunning and would look great with a cream knitted roll neck dress and some knee high cream boots! A little more on the expensive side but definitely worth it!
£60 reduced to £39
As you will see below, checks are a big trend this season and one thing you will see from this edit is that I love to mix trends. This stunning mac is a 3-in-1 trend – checks, balloon sleeves and a trench so if you’re wanting a piece that ticks all the boxes, this is it. The tie details on the wrists are also a stunning addition.
CHECK these out
In fashion week we saw checks were a HUGE trend for this season and just love how versatile they are! Whether its tartan, buffalo, hounds-tooth or tartan, there are so many gorgeous options out there.
£75.00 reduced to £37.50
Covering more causal ground, we have the classic shacket, but more of a winter coat hybrid version. If you prefer a shorter version, then check out my video above, but I thought this was a really nice alternative. I would probably pair it with my trusty cream Zara waist belt to give it more shape or wear it open as more of an overcoat.
£34.99 reduced to £27.99
You really cannot go wrong with a classic checked blazer or jacket and I really love how H&M have styled this one giving it a more classic county feel. You could also belt the jacket again, so it’s well worth investing in some accessories or digging out your collection to see how they can compliment your style.
If you haven’t checked out (no pun intended) the Emma Willis collection from Next, then I highly recommend that you do! She has a gorgeous range of clothes mostly focusing on preppy chic. This classic wool coat is the perfect coat for all occasions, whether you wanted to dress it up for a night out or something to go to work in.
Enter the Matrix
PU leather and vinyl styles are in this season. Think Keanu Reeves and the Matrix vibes.
£65.00 reduced to £32.50
As you know, I am a huge fan of Lorna Luxe and her In The Style collection and this most recent addition is no exception. This coat is the perfect combination. Statement yet delicate and feminine. I love the soft blush colour that can be styled with anything!
£190.00 reduced to £60
Very similar to the Lorna Luxe coat, but a step up if you are wanting something a bit more ‘out there’. Its high shine PU/vinyl and very 70’s, which I feel is making a huge comeback at the moment.
£79.99 reduced to £59.99
If pale coats aren’t your thing, this could be an option for you.
In addition to faux leather, another hot trend for this season is faux fur. From causal to glam, full on fur to fur trim; this trend is a gorgeous and versatile trend that can be casual and dressed down for daytime or paired with winter glam for an extra boujie look!
£150.00 reduced to £45.00
It’s a coat that will never go out of season! After purchasing another coat from Nasty Gal as part of my YouTube coat haul, I was floored by the quality of their coats and most of all the prices! I have always wanted a leopard print coat and after seeing the price of this ones had to snap it up!
Another casual staple is the Aviator jacket and I just fell in love with this one from M&S. I have been on the hunt for a nice aviator jacket for a while, but could never quite find the right one. A lot have the Borg/sheep style fur, which I’m not a huge fan of and though they made them look cheap. Others have the faux fur but its not the best quality. If you’re looking for gorgeous soft fur at a great price, then you definitely need to check this one out.
£144.00 reduced to £70.00
A lot of you loved the Nasty Gal fur coat that was featured in my video, which has unfortunately it has since sold out. BUT, I’ve got you covered! This coat is pretty much an identical dupe at the same price!
I popped into River Island a few days ago and was so tempted to get this coat for Christmas, but I might have to wait a bit, else my husband might kill me.
The fur is so so soft, you’ll never want to take it off! If you’re looking to add a bit of colour, but aren’t feeling too adventurous, this is a great option. The very cool toned purple makes the coat a lot more wearable and it just screams luxury. The coat also comes in black.
£219.00 reduced to £131.40
When I saw this coat, I just has to include it in this edit! The belted wait is EVERYTHING. It’s a little bit on the more expensive side, but the incorporated belt that cinches the waist looks stunning.
£229.00 reduced to £183.20
This coat is very much going to be like Marmite. If you like your unusual and bold statement coats, then check out the brand Jakke on ASOS. They do a huge variety of fur coats from Bambi prints to florals etc.
